Mission Briefing and Debriefing
The Nordic Pilot Training Centre offers modern training facilities. Classrooms and mission briefing rooms have access to computer-based training programmes, briefing materials and other sources that students need in order to prepare for coming missions and classes. A separate mission planning system is also used for mission briefings.

The NPTC Hawk debriefing system uses Windows based, user-friendly, stand-alone flight debriefing system. Data from various sources can be recorded and replayed to provide the briefer with a comprehensive training and operational debriefing capability. The aircraft’s performance data, position information, weapons employment, radio communications and HUD displays are merged in a debriefing system and thereby made available for debriefing purposes.
The state-of-the-art synchronized digital video replay capability, 3D graphic displays tabular and pairing views, various map modes, data window etc, makes this debriefing tool great help when finding out lessons to learn from sortie. Particular emphasis is put on debriefings, in which the primary objective is to reconstruct the sortie and the essential learningevents in a reliable manner.
